Born in Glasgow, Scotland, UK 1961. Moved to Harrogate, North Yorkshire in '83.

A few years in advetising as a photographer and airbrush artist, then quite a few years in the games industry as a concept designer, modeller and texture artist.

Moved to Los Angeles, California for five years in 2001 to work on movie visual effects, modelling, lighting and previs animation, then back to Harrogate, UK, where I'm currently based, playing guitar, teaching, writing music and creating 3D creatures and vehicles.

I've been playing guitar for about thirty-odd years, and I've also been... A music shop salesman, guitar repairer/teacher, illustrator, waiter, photographer, magazine article writer, computer games artist, labourer, painter and decorator, model maker, window cleaner, ad agency runner, ad agency creative director, signwriter, movie visual effects artist, and university lecturer, not necessarily in that order.
